Make Art, Shop for Plants! Yes, Please!
Kerr County Love Project at the Riverside Nature Center

The Kerr County Love Project is honored to partner with the Riverside Nature Center during their biannual Native Plant Sale, co-hosted with the Native Plant Society of Texas (Kerrville Chapter) and the Hill Country Chapter of the Texas Master Naturalists.

A family friendly spring event!
While community members shop for beautiful native plants, our team will offer a hands-on tile-making activity for the Kerr County Love Project mural beginning at 10:00 AM. Participants of all ages are invited to create a ceramic tile that will become part of a large-scale community artwork honoring connection, resilience, and the natural beauty of the Hill Country. No experience is needed — just come as you are and add your piece to the collective story.

The plant sale features a wide selection of native perennials, grasses, shrubs, and vines — many of which are drought-tolerant and well-suited to our region. Knowledgeable docents will be available throughout the event to assist with plant selection and propagation advice. Members of the partner organizations may shop early at 9:00 AM, with the sale opening to the public at 9:30 AM.

Come for the plants, stay to create, and help grow something lasting for our community.
